Don Currier, Home Inspector in Lawrence, KS

I approach each home inspection with the goal of helping my clients understand their home better and come away with peace of mind. As a school teacher and coach of 34 years, I specialized in mathematics and technology. This job required organization, problem solving, and clear communication. Today, these same qualities help guide my clients through the home inspection process.

In this field, it is important to have a critical eye and relevant experience. I honed my attention to detail by painting houses in the summer for over 25 years.  I also manage a rental property, which involves roofing, remodeling, and a variety of handyman projects. As a volunteer with Habitat for Humanity and church-sponsored service opportunities, I continue to improve and put my skills to work.

I received my training from the Inspection Certification Association, am a member of the American Society of Home Inspectors (ASHI), and am fully insured. I follow the ASHI Standards of Practice and Code of Ethics, which are available upon request. As a member of ASHI, I complete training each year, to stay up on the latest practices. I am also a graduate of Ottawa University and the University of Kansas.
